Jeep Cherokee Sport

The 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport offers a refined version of the 4.0-liter inline-six engine. The Sports got a 5-speed manual gearbox with improved shift quality. It offers the powertrain that includes Power Tech 2.5-liter I-4 OHV SPI 8 valve engine, electronic ignition, longitudinal engine, cast iron engine block and head, unleaded, 124 amp alternator, 500 CCA battery, and 5-speed manual transmi9ssion with overdrive. The rear-wheel drive has a 4.10 axle ratio and stainless steel exhaust. The emission is federal.

 

 

The steering and suspension of Cherokee Sport is composed of the hydraulic power-assist re-circulating ball steering, front disc and rear drum brakes with front-vented discs, Quadra-Link front non-independent suspension. The front leading link suspension has front anti-roll bar, front coil springs, gas-pressurized front shocks, rigid rear axle, rear leaf suspension, rear anti-roll bar, rear leaf springs, and gas-pressurized rear shocks. It also offer safety equipments that include center high mounted stop light, dual airbags, and front height adjustable seatbelts.
